A Love Letter to Ami Cole

It’s with a heavy heart and sad soul to see a beautiful black owned brand sink… and we as people of the colored community should be able to put aside our own personal businesses to highlight the woman behind the beauty brand we need to highlight her integrity, her spirit, her ingenuity and her contribution to our community and we as a black people. We are here, we see you and we love you my sister.

I always want to make sure I speak on things truthfully and after taking some time to educate myself on the ending of a beautiful era… I have started to ask myself how has the beauty community became so ugly? In light of allowing racists, child predators, and brands who steal creative styles from smaller ones… when do we say enough is enough?

Ami Nicole as a brand you are enough darling, Diarrha you are enough, you are beautiful and you are seen and heard. Hopefully this reaches you, and don’t look at this as the end but the beginning of something new.

On a side note, I wanted to make this blog more “Afro-centric” it’s only right to start doing right by me and mine. Hopefully this little blog post will be the start.
